Not a big beer drinker, but I like German lagers like Spaten. Weihenstephan makes a good one too. I have no use for weiss biers. Do enjoy a Guinness from time-to-time--especially in the winter.

Right now it's a black lager from Magic Hat called Howl.

Todd and Rogue, those two are amongst my favorites of the Hefeweizen variety, along with New Glarus Bubbler.

For IPAs, my other brew love, Bell's Hopslam, Karben4 Fantasy Factory, and 3 Floyds Zombie Dust (technically an APA) are faves. Also enjoy Sierra Nevada Hop Hunter, Sidecar, and Tropical Torpedo. 12th of Never by Lagunitas is a great APA, also!

Oh, that's too hard, they're so many that I like but when I think of just a good beer I go back to New Belgium's 1554 Black Lager.

We have lots of craft breweries around here. It is hard to pick one, but Weld Werks Vienna lager is my go to.

While in Germany, my go to beer became Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse. I still have a couple of the branded .5l glasses. If Franziskaner was not available then a Späten Weissbier almost always would be.

Found out also that Tucher Hefeweiss was not desirable for me.
God, this pic makes me want one. I haven't had one for ages.

I am definitely not a beer connoisseur, but the XX does it for me. I also enjoy a Modelo or even a Samual Adams, but Mexican beers appeal to me the most.

Modelo is a pretty dang good Austrian Lager. Mexican beer has an interesting history.

Undeniably and without question, Blue Pants Brewery's oatmeal chocolate porter.

It makes for an amazing pizza dough and beer-cheese soup, and I really enjoy the flavor. I personally get a lot of the chocolate, but not as much of the oatmeal. I'm okay with this. Only complaint is that it's their winter seasonal, so I have to stock up during the winter months and ration it over the course of the rest of the year (as a matter of fact, I've still got 5 cans left).

My second favorite is Young's Double Chocolate Stout.

My favorite "standby" is Newcastle Brown.

Can't do IPAs, don't hate myself enough to drink the super bitter stuff.
