If you go to the BMW Welt in Munich, every few hours they have a stunt rider do a demo sort of like this, but indoors and surrounded by the crowd. The guy will come just inches from crashing into the crowd, while sliding at full brake, hops down a long flight of concrete stairs on the front tire like it's a pogo stick. Very impressive skills.

I assumed these stunt riders learned on dirt bikes and progressed to sport bikes, but I don't think most do.
