Same except my spare mag has a +2 on it so I’m up to 33 rounds. On a few occasions when I want more concealment I carry my K6s and a spare 6 rounds of ammo.

Lately either 10 or 14.

S&W 60 snubbie, five in the cylinder and a speed strip with five more in my pocket. Or;

Walther PP, seven in the gun, extra mag with seven more on my belt.

Once the weather gets colder, that'll go up considerably as I start carrying the P226 in 9mm.

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Off duty, I carry my P365 with XL grip. So that's 12+1 in the gun, with one 12 or 15 rounder on the side, for 25-28 total rounds.

I switched my EDC to a G43X. I use shield arms 15 round mag

So 15.

I keep two extras in the door pocket of my truck.

Sometimes I carry a model 60 due to the clothing…but I rarely go anywhere something might pop off, like when I was policing. (I know it can happen anywhere, but I also avoid shit too). If it gets a little BLMish, I’ll start carrying the AR pistol with a few extra mags.

Seeing some with no spare mag - don’t you always want a spare in case you have to clear a malfunction?

On my body - Glock 43X, so 11 in the gun and a 10 round mag in reserve.
In the truck - Glock 17, so 18 in the gun and an additional 17 round mag.

So in total = 57 rounds of +P 9mm JHP.

Summertime=10 in the firearm + a 15 round spare. Winter is 12 + 15 or 30 (1 mag or 2). Always an extra mag or two in the vehicle, maybe a rifle as well. Rifle is usually a 17HMR but could be a 22 or 243 or lever action 44 Mag depending on conditions.

Summer carry is a P365 as 12+1. Cooler weather allows a VP9 with 15+1. Either way there is a spare in the vehicle but not on my person. Always with a quality ammo. The last couple years it has been Hornady Critical Defense which has proven to cycle well in both guns.

18DAI has it correct. A SD situation happens
fast and close....often garlic breath distance.
Like him.....I've been there and done it.
I liked the way he put it.....be out of time before
i'm out of ammo.
Unless your into a fire fight like a hostage situation. All those extlkra mags are just extra weight.

Glock 43X with spare magazine. 21 Rounds of 9mm 124 Grain +P goodness.

My Kimber Ultra Carry is the same, just less rounds. Fifteen 230 Grain HP.

If I strap on the Colt Cobra I go with Twelve 158 Grain HP.

Just an observation..
It seems that some folk tend to carry a smaller gun in the warmer months due to the difficulty of concealing a larger one but it also seems that the warmer weather brings out the crazies more than when it’s cold outside…

I carry a 365XL with an extra mag year round.
