So Bernie Sanders raised $25.3 million last quarter according to yesterday's report.
What will he do with the money if he drops out due to health reasons?

1. Return the money.
2. Donate the money to other campaigns.
3. Keep the money for his retirement years.

I suspect it will be #3 although there will be some mealy mouthed explanation for how he's doing it for the good of the people.

As calm and serene as Bernie appears, I'm stunned he'd have heart problems.

He will form a PAC and use it to finance all of his travel/food/entertainment expenses for the rest of his life while making very small donations to socialists here and there - just enough to keep it legal.

He can't just deposit the money and spend it, he has to use it ostensibly for political purposes. But the head of the PAC can be paid a salary and expenses - that's the way they get around the laws against keeping it for personal use.

Here's my two cents (and yes that's all it's worth) - Bernie and Elizabeth's democrat poll numbers far exceed Biden's. Bernie's voters go to Warren. So Biden is toast. Warren is the nominee.

As soon as Hillary looks like she might get back in the race, Biden’s eye explodes and Bernie has “chest pains.”

Warren might want to hire more security.

Hillary's undocumented health suspicions were sufficient to cast doubt on her health for office and with Bernie's being well-known and his age, the voters will question if he's up to the task.

Biden is finished and Bernie too.

The rest of the candidate are Tier 2 and will fade soon enough. The party elders will encourage those 2nd rate candidates to not beat up on Warren since those sound bites will be used by Trump in the Fall campaign. These candiates will also be asked to bank what they have and let the large money come in for Warren to build her war chest.

Trump v. Warren.

Warren is her own worst enemy, at least to thinking people. For those who are part of the free shit crowd, she's a dynamo. Those people are the ones that give me the heebie jeebies.

Even after stents, Bernie has AT LEAST 36 sessions of Cardiac Rehab ahead of him, so that would be a MINIMUM of 12 weeks if he went 3x per week. He would be smart to heed that advice from his Cardiologist...

The Assyrian came down like the wolf on the fold,
And his cohorts were gleaming in purple and gold;
And the sheen of their spears was like stars on the sea,
When the blue wave rolls nightly on deep Galilee.

Like the leaves of the forest when Summer is green,
That host with their banners at sunset were seen:
Like the leaves of the forest when Autumn hath blown,
That host on the morrow lay withered and strown.

For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast,
And breathed in the face of the foe as he passed;
And the eyes of the sleepers waxed deadly and chill,
And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still!

And there lay the steed with his nostril all wide,
But through it there rolled not the breath of his pride;
And the foam of his gasping lay white on the turf,
And cold as the spray of the rock-beating surf.

And there lay the rider distorted and pale,
With the dew on his brow, and the rust on his mail:
And the tents were all silent, the banners alone,
The lances unlifted, the trumpet unblown.

And the widows of Ashur are loud in their wail,
And the idols are broke in the temple of Baal;
And the might of the Gentile, unsmote by the sword,
Hath melted like snow in the glance of the Lord.

Thanks, Doc H.
One of my favorite poems; less than 2 weeks ago our tour group was in Jerusalem discussing King Hezekiah and the threat from Sennacherib’s Assyrians; I managed to quote the first two lines.
