They are, yes. All the other Progressive commercials are just stupid. Especially the "TV Dad" ones.

Unfortunately, that is true of my parents. Their refrigerator died while they were on a long trip, and I was asked to clean it out. Luckily my sense of smell was still jacked-up from WuFlu. I found things in the freezer that were more than 10 years old.

What's wrong with "becoming your parents"? I had good ones and becoming more like them should be lauded.

Did you get your sense of humor from them?

The best parts are the little subtle things. My recent favorite is one where a guy is scrolling through his phone using his index finger, which is something I've only ever seen older people do. he corrects him with "uh uh, thumbs." Noticing the little things is so funny. My dad used to hold the phone way out, squint, and scroll with his index finger just like that.

I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

I like the scene where he pulls the tv remote from Velcro on the coffee table. Definitely something an uncle of mine would have done.

My wife and I have a running joke every time she opens an Amazon box. " This is a good box . Should we keep it ? "

I doubt it. As Para has noted several times, I don't perceive the World the same way most of you do.

I am definitely guilty on the third one:

“Do you still own that car?”

“I do not”

“OK”

I'm the crown molding guy. I have piles of wood scraps. My rationale is the price of lumber these days. That, and I've turned into my father.

Guilty on the leftover containers too. Thanks mom.
