Did a search, model you recommend should be spelled Kadet.

Wasn't aware they were that much money. Not saying they're not worth it as they probably are.
I still have my hand held sharpening steel from when I was a butcher. I've had to get that rehoned a few times but it still does the job for me.

I saw one model for 700+ bucks. Looks like good stuff but out of my price range.

There are some good overviews on YouTube of this brand and this model.

Makes attaining a mirrored edge incredibly easy

I'm going for a Kadet Nero (the anodized model) and am looking to copy the base w/clamps you made for yours, Grumpy. I've got thread with the post about your base bookmarked for when I get the 'round-to-it.

Damn! You can brush your teeth in that mirror finish! Do you find the "angle finder" useful?

Those are some impressive sharpeners. Just a tad out of my price range though. Interesting that they are made in Russia.

Absolutely, I keep a sharpening log so I can touch up my knives with the kangaroo strop plates that fit in the Kadet & other guided sharpening systems.
Check my log, set the guide to the angle in my log & strop away.
I do use Gunny Glide Diamond emulsions.
3um down to 0.1um for mirror finishes.

Usually for folders it’s $10 add 5 for a mirrored edge plus something for return shipping.
Multi knife discounts.

Each individual that sharpens for money has their own prices but this seems to be the average.

There’s a guided sharpening group on Facebook.
Everything Knives (FB Group) has 4-5 guys that do it as a business.
