What will scare a robin away?
Turns out it seems a picture of a person will do it. My wife read this somewhere and cut a full page ad out of one of her magazines and pasted it in the window. It seems to have worked.

This. I had to do this with a Robin that kept building a nest on my porch light.

anything that will stop the reflection. piece of paper and tape will do it. Or, a light on the inside brighter than the outside lighting.

Put a photo of a owl or hawk in the window that he is pecking on. But sometimes a owl photo will draw birds who raise all hell at the sight of a owl. It's worth a try.

Well at least it's not a raven...

quote:
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
“’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more.”

...Never more...
