They will no doubt lament the long-lost vague notion of privacy, when conversations could still be private, when one could drive from one city to another without dozens of cameras and other technology weren't logging your every move "for teh chillrens" or "terrorism".

"But you agreed to it" they'll say, all smarmy and irritatingly, remember, before Echos and Dots were everywhere and always listening "so your pizza order is 2% easier", before you needed a week and a team of attorneys to understand the EULA no one reads.

If it all hasn't been forgotten decades before then.

Grumble grumble something something bullshit.

In 2068, people will talk about the olden days when you carried a phone around in your pocket, instead of having it implanted in your body.

How the evil white man invented capitalism and destroyed the world while they live in the mandated ration of two cups of white rice per day and one chicken per year (per person).

I was also introduced to the mystique of the Shelby Cobra and eagerly watched for them on the Washington Beltway. I could have purchased the Washington Monument as easily as either car in those days, but remember thinking, “Why would anyone settle for the 350 when there was a 500?”

1968 was a great time for the American muscle cars. So is 2018. 50 years from now we will be looking back at this as the second great era of American muscle cars. Cars like the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R, the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and the 707hp Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will be remembered with a smile...

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I'd recollect the times I could to the back 40 and target practice with my AR15 without being arrested and put into a re-education camp. Carefull, it may happen!
