I think my brain is completely numb. I think there’s been maybe 18 nanoseconds of quiet during the one time she took a breath. She had to use the toilet and I thought I’d get a moment of silence but no, she sings on the pot. She giggles while eating. She asks questions from the shower. We’re actually enjoying it but my head is going to explode. Will report if it does.

How old is the chatterbox? Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

No joke! I can’t imagine 50 somethings having kids. I’d be institutionalized.

Our granddaughter will be 3 in September. She has spent the night a couple of times, it’s only 1 night but it’s exhausting. Her and I have a special bond though. Whenever she’s here it’s non-stop playing. My Apple Watch warns me of high decibel levels a lot when she’s around. She also has me wrapped around her little finger

Two granddaughters, 6 and 3. Both high energy, while their mom is low energy so we try to siphon some off. At almost 80, that's not easy to do. Fortunately we can bribe them with Bluey episodes. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

I hear you. I'm 77 and have two grandaughters at 3 years old and the other at 11. We have them at least two weekends a month. It gives mom and dad a break and they both have to work many weekends. We really look forward to them coming and we also REALLY look forward to mom coming Sunday to pick them up. .....never marry a woman who is mean to your waitress.

Find a means to bottle it so when she is away you can open it up and enjoy the youth aura They grow up quick the question phase is the best! ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

I love mine too, but they are noisy. And messy. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

We had our daughter when I was 48. It wasn't bad because you have more time to spend with them...no longer trying to get ahead/make end meet. She also got to collect SSA for a couple of years when I started collecting No, Daoism isn't a religion

Worse, she's cute and she knows it. She uses it to her advantage.
More time at 48? She's back with her mom and it was a whole lot of fun. She wanted to play and I suggested "Hide and Don't Go Seek". I love getting to do the grandpa jokes. She's actually a pleasant little human. I think I like her.

Yup, all the twenty-somethings were still trying to make a "name for themselves." By 48, I was closing in on retirement and had found my niche. Plus by then I had enough seniority to have regular shifts, good days off, and any vacation period I wanted No, Daoism isn't a religion

I ran the numbers and I get to retire the day after my funeral. I’m 56 now and feel like I’m barely just starting.
