There’s a couple indoor ranges in my jurisdiction and one in particular isn’t good at cleanliness apparently as I have been to fires there three times in my career so far....it’s more common than people think.

At impact Guns in Ogden, Ut. I was standing at my lane table at the range. While loading a mag, I noticed a billow of smoke a couple of lanes down and a growing panic/commotion. I tilted myself around the partition to see a fire on the carpeted table top becoming large enough to be very alarming. While some escaped and others stood there almost in shocked disbelief. I grabbed my now empty range bag and beat the flames out. The smoke was overpowering. I made a beeline for the door. The ventilation system cleared the room out in minutes with the fire out. I went back in to get my stuff and found that I needed a new range bag. The nylon skin of it had melted and pitted. Anyway, I was struck at how fast the fire grew and got nearly out of control.

We had a place go up like that in Virginia back in the day. Poor / non-existence cleaning of the range plus poor ventilation was the primary cause.

The fire started on the rifle range, due to tracer use, and if I were the owner of Bullseye, I'd be suing the shit out of whoever pulled that stunt.

So, that's good. It was nowhere near as bad as I thought. They have smoke and water damage, no doubt.

With the volume of smoke pouring out of the building in the one pix. Guessing there is lots of damage. Hope not.
Could of been worse no doubt.

Very sorry to hear about this. I used to shoot USPSA there about 12 years ago. Bought my Springfield Loaded Operator there.
