My wife and I watched the movie Steel Magnolias last night to kinda close out Dolly Parton week. I had never seen it; what a great movie!

We watched the hour long program last night. I never saw so many advertisements in a one hour show. I didn't think it was very respectful but I guess they have to pay the bills.

I am currently in France retracing my FIL’s campaign in WW2.

The US flags at the various cemeteries are at half mast for a week in her honor. Also, many of her songs are playing in restaurants and bars around here. She made quite an impression even out of the US.
