I flew to Philadelphia yesterday and my dad picked us up and drove us to my folks' house on Long Beach Island, NJ. Along the route I saw plenty of Trump signs and even some bridge overpasses with Trump painted on them. An hour ago I saw a car drive down their cul-de-sac with a large Trump flag attached to it. I'd be willing to bet I will see one of those planes flying up and down the beach towing a ginormous Trump banner behind it. Again, this is NJ.

That said, Trump was a household name here when I was a kid in the early 80s. We got all our news from NYC and Philly stations.

I live in Portland. Have not seen a single Trump sign. Biden signs: yes. Trump: still looking.

Choices seem limited. Example, our limp wristed mayor Wheeler is in a runoff for reelection. His opponent who came in with the highest total in a big field of @16 candidates actively supports and marches with Antifa. People who will vote for Trump will also vote for Mayor Wheeler as he is the law and order candidate (in comparison). You can't make this crazy stuff up.

If we expand it to bumper stickers, I see plenty of Trump but have not seen a single one for Biden. There are a few Bernie stickers but they are old and faded.

Just went out in the boat on Barnegat Bay with my folks. Saw two large Trump flags on boats and a plane towing a huge Trump-Pence banner. Still can't believe I'm seeing this in NJ.

In SE Wisconsin, we’re a republican county, like all but I believe 3 in the state, the signs around me follow that. I think I’ve seen one sleepy joe sign.

Again today. We went to Seaside and there were roadside stands selling Trump swag. Crossing the bridge over the bay we saw plenty of boats on the bay running huge Trump banners. Coming home, driving over the bridge back to LBI, again, huge flotilla of boats with Trump banners. Still can't believe what I'm seeing in NJ. Still, not a single Biden sign anywhere.

Sunday I took a scenic drive through east and east-central Tennessee. Somewhere around Red Boiling Springs I saw a lone Biden sign; everything else was Trump. Including several giant billboards visible from I-40 depicting him embracing the American flag. Again, Tennessee is pretty solidly red excepting Memphis and Nashville.

I am north of San Francisco, by 20 miles. Hardly any yard signs at all. I suspect the Dems are embarassed to put up Biden signs, and Trump supporters are concerned about vandalism from those who believe the propaganda.

Was out on Lake St. Clair with friends, yesterday. Saw numerous boats flying Trump flags. Here are just a couple of them.

Saw not a single Harris/Biden flag.

Here's a map of the 2016 election by county.
The red areas will probably have more Trump signs!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Trump supporter in Walmart lot. FWIW, my S.O. just came back from the Walmart at 64th St in Marysville where a man in a jacked up diesel pickup was flying a big Trump flag. A lot of apparently normal looking shoppers made it a point to flip him off as they returned to their cars to go home. S.O. said the man was visibly upset. I'm going to offer a little advice; don't bait the Trumpers, they tend to be armed and many would take the slightest provocation to shoot you. I don't like 'em either but seriously, don't let your mouth write a check your butt can't cash. Save it for Nov 3.

And a comment to that post...

” Gerhard Swiderski • Comeford Park

No one should be afraid to reject harassment, regardless of anything. If threatened csll the police. People like this need to be held accountable and if needed locked up because they are a danger to the public. Intimidating people cannot be tolerated.

I hope you agree. Let them do whatever they want is wrong. I for sure would take picture of the car and license, the person and would call 911 right then. It unbelievable what people like this think they csn do to others. Politics or any other reason, it does not matter”

The liberal loonie lessons:

“Normal” people make vulgar gestures to others with a different political opinion.
Trump supporters are armed and likely to shoot someone who flips them off
Openly supporting Trump is “harassment” and a “threat” and police should be called to lock them up as they are a “danger to the public”

That thread got locked down for being “political” but another one sprouted up pretty quick. This one calling out the left for gaslighting truck owners and flag wavers:

” Michelle Gowdey
Jacqueline Ridge • 1 day ago

Trucks??? I’m noticing a new trend on Facebook and Nextdoor and in some conversations...people are now talking about how they are afraid of truck owners. HUH??? Just because you have a truck and that truck has a flag on it does not mean there is a need to be fearful. This feels like the latest liberal trend to discredit and put down people who don’t share their opinions.

I’m a truck owner with a flag on it, my husband is, many of my friends are. This is ridiculous and weird!!
Stop gaslighting people!!!”

As expected it pretty quickly went to shit too with the liberals calling Trump and his supports racist garbage while (literally) claiming the moral high ground.

” Jack Blackwell • Sunnyside Hills

Got no problem with trucks. The only thing that bugs me with the American flag flying from them isn't the flag itself but the idea that flying the flag somehow is all you need to be a patriot. Jacked up truck, "rolling coal" and flying a Trump flag? That's another story. That tells me a few things that transcend mere difference of opinion into a difference in moral grounding and values.”

One fool offered the “Kids in cages” rant and when debunked by THIS Week’s AP article, claimed the AP is fake news Trump propaganda.

TDS is REALLY strong with these folks...

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Similar ratio over here, but I get the sense that the average Biden voter hasn't got a lawn to plant a sign in.

Recently took a 50 mile road trip and saw 19 Trump , 3 Biden and 8 sweet corn signs. Sweet corn has better odds!

I can't take credit for this, but I saw it on a facebook post that asked a similar question. Based on the number of signs you've seen, who will win the election.

The poster said that based on what he has seen Trump would win handily, with garage sales coming in a far second, and Biden in a very distant third.

Out for a drive around town after a restaurant meal with the TDS SIL driving. She insists on driving us (we are the right wing black sheep) past the "Trump Dump". A run down trailer in run down part of town. Ok but hey an observation SIL. I'm see about 50 houses with Trump signs and 3 with Biden. According to her the Biden supporters are just laying low. Yeah I say, they are Hidein with Biden. Kicker is we drive past the local Democrats Headquarters and guess who's sign is NOT present? She didn't have any explanation for that.

Just noticed a large 3 x 5 Biden yard sign that has been out for a couple of months is suddenly GONE!

That said, way more Trump signs than Biden ones in my area.
