Got a high volume robotic vacuum for picking up Golden Retriever hair, think I got it for $250 (usually $400).

Got a jump starter/air compressor for the son-in-law for Xmas, usually $160, got it for $115.

That's about it. Big spender, I am.

I bought some cordless power tools. Had some projects around the house my wife wanted me to do for her and my old drill died.

A 2 pack of 25 rd magazines for my 10/22. Should be fun.

Since my television decided to go out, it worked out well. I got a 55 inch tv for a little over $400. Nothing fancy but it does the job.

Here's to the sunny slopes of long ago.

A laptop primarily for work. 12 years was a good run for the last one - a Sony VAIO with a battery that would still last an hour.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." For the nieces and wimmmin's Christmas gifts, woolen items from Minnesota. Lambswool beanies, scarves, a throw. [The boys get cash, the men nothing].

For me, finally rotated out 12-year old pillowcases with Macy's Hotel Collection 625 Supima cotton products. Plus two fitted sheets. Man, they're like heaven. I take sleep seriously; why I waited so long for new sheets is beyond me.

Picked up a Solo Stove Bonfire fire pit for a pretty decent price. Now to see if it’s truly smokeless as they claim. Reviews are pretty encouraging.

Nothing. There is not much worth the discounts out there to justify dealing with the stupidity on Black Friday.

I scooped up a few sapphire crystals, crowns, gaskets, cases and assorted watch parts for some upcoming custom SKX watch builds. A few of my favorite watch modification vendors were running truly tempting deals.

I also got some great movement on price from the seller of a VERY neat and now discontinued vintage-reissue dive watch in a very unique color.
