Musclepharm brand

Best tasting one I've tried is the cookies and cream. I use unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk.

I have tried a whole bunch of them and to me, hands down, the best tasting is 1st Phorm. However, it is expensive, quality, but expensive ($65 a jug). I am currently bulking and need the calories so I am using a muck lesser tasting protein but by the time I add banana, peanut butter, carbs, and avocado the taste of the protein is of lesser importance.

I don't know of any protein shake that tastes good, especially if it has quality protein and BCAAs. The best case scenario is that it'll mix evenly and you can chug it before your taste buds can figure out what is happening.

Adding peanut butter, bananas, ice cream, etc. will make it taste better but that adds a lot of calories and sugar. Depending on your recommended intake it can make it real easy to go over.

My goto mixers with protein shakes are chia seeds, peanut butter and bananas. That easily doubled the calories per shake though. Now I just do Muscle Milk with ice and water and chug it as fast as I can. It's the only brand that's halfway decent that I recognize here in PR.

Progenex is without a doubt the best. It is expensive though.

Give Nutrabio a try - I've tried quite a few and their chocolate whey tastes great and completely mixes with water or milk - no lumps. They also have a banana bourbon which is outstanding.

The chocolate malt flavor of the Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Powder is tasty, of course that's assuming you like chocolate malt as a flavor.

Adding a little (2-3oz) chocolate milk to just about any protein mix always spruces up the taste. (and chocolate milk is a good recovery drink itself)

I use Pure Protein for basic meal protein supplementation and Progenex after strength workouts only. (as mentioned above, it's pricy at $4-$5 serving)

My wife started a keto diet recently. She used a plain protein powder based strictly on the protein part and the flavored it with frozen mixed berries (blue/raspberries/black). Mixed all of it up with cold water using an immersion blender.

I only use protein powder after lifting weights so I want fast absorbing protein (hydrolyzed whey is the fastest). I also want high purity (isolate not concentrate) to greatly reduce the high sulfur farts.

Adding almond milk will slow everything down and change the flavor so I haven't tried my favorite with one of the options the OP is intending to use.

My favorite for use with water is Dymatize ISO 100 Whey Protein Powder which is Hydrolyzed 100% Whey Isolate. My favorite flavor is Chocolate Peanut Butter.

This. Get vanilla and make your own flavors.

We use Nytrowhey(from prosource.net) chocolate, strawberry vanilla.

Also, Dymatize chocolate and dunkin donuts Mocha Latte are good.

Wait just a second.

Forget those protein powders. Most of that protein comes from milk. Babies drink milk, not stud muffins like you, with 12 pack abs, and the ability to crush a full six pack of beer between your buttocks.

While the video used large mouth bass, I know it processes raw, unprocessed bass, bat, beef, camel, chicken, fish, lamb, mutton, and pork. Check the manual on yours to find if it can handle critters like American Bison, deer, elk, moose, seal and sea lion, and the occasional pressure washed hippie.

If the manual says OKAY, you are ready to BAAALLLLEEEEENDER!!!!

Take 32 ounces of your choice of raw animal protein, some water, probiotic Kefir, or almond milk, and such spices as are needed and hit that big red BUUUTTTTOOOONN!!

Blend exactly 28 seconds, pause for 11 seconds, blend for 13 seconds, pause for seven seconds, and for the finale, blend another 5 seconds, and you re DONE!!

All that is left is to chug that bug. Right off the blender, open you mouth and pour the raw animal protein in.

Try to get it all down in 2.72 seconds, the US record for the fastest chug of a 32 oz. schooner of Schlitz.

The shakes are great, the powder is absolutely disgusting. I bought a big thing of the powder because I assumed it would taste like the shakes... Nope! Threw the thing away, it was that bad.

My favorite, by far, is the Core Power shakes (vanilla & strawberry banana), followed by Muscle Milk shakes (chocolate). Never found a powder that compares to either of those.

I add a half scoop to a 1/2 cup rolled oatmeal (not instant). Add hot water.

I sometimes add a bit to greek yogurt too.

Also great as a drink of course.
