Went through those doors for the first time 05 Sept 1995.
Nice picture!

The place is kind of a circus now.

Yep, just looked it up. The only reason I remember that is because I had to deliver concrete 1 block east of the training academy. As I turned off of Loomis onto Jackson, one of the cadets was walking in front of the academy. She was one of the prettiest girls I’ve ever seen. She gave me a big smile and waved. It was memorable. Kinda put a little pep in my step the rest of the day.

I don’t know. He had a bunch of traded in ones already but, I think they sold out. I will ask though. He just got done w/ a big contract for M&P’s and Smith AR’s for the St. Louis PD and has some kind of big handgun deal w/ Chicago PD.

Spent a lot of time there. Not too much fun back then. Your friend should do well there as you probably know, Chicago just banned the 320.

What company did you deliver the concrete for?

Welsch Ready Mix. Yellow trucks with a Silver drum. I worked for 3 companies total because of the recession.

Yep. Must have got a contract w/ S&W since he is a S&W LE distributor.
