Shooters choice bag showed up today. From what I gather, the CED bag is the same size as the Midway and 5.11 bag. The Shooter's Choice bag by description is a few inches smaller all around. The interesting thing is the removable inner bag from the Midway bag still fits in side. It's sort of like it's "tighter tolerances" smaller. lol

The bag is heavier duty than the Midway bag, no doubt, more ridged all around. The difference in quality is undeniable.

The CED bag seems to come with the removable pistol pouches like the Midway bag. The SC bag does not. Though I don't mind that at all because I have several from the old bags, and don't use them either.

One feature I do like on the SC bag is the large side pocket has two rows of magazine pouches, but unlike the Midway bag, they are on velcro and removable. I never used them for mags in the old bags, so they'r just taking up valuable space. I like that I can get them out and out of my way. They might be more useful to me outside the bag, they certainly never were any use to me in the bag.

I’m on my second Midway bag………because one of our cats peed on the first one! Had the first one for, gosh….I don’t know how long. Second one….not peed on….for about 5 years. No issues, no complaints.

As I'm slowly moving things over to the new bag, I'm shocked how "floppy" the old bag is, or at least has become. I also didn't realize how sun / UV damaged it is. It's black, shading towards dark gray. And there's enough sand in it to start my own range. Big Grin

What has become the biggest puzzle to me is the FDE Midway bag. I know I owned one, it was the second or third Midway one I had. I have a couple black insert bags, several black pistol sleeves and a couple black brass bags. But no FDE ones? But I know for a fact I had an FDE bag. It's become a strange mystery to me now, maybe I gave it away? That's why I don't have the accessories? Or the FDE bag had black accessories? I don't think so? It's very strange.

I've used the 5.11 Tactical Range Bag for the past 15 years = good to go.
A friend has the Midway Range Bag = he likes it, the bag looks good to.

I bought myself the Specialist Range Bag from Savior Equipment (saw a Brownell's Christmas Gift You tube video) for a Christmas present.

I got it through Amazon for a little bit less than MSRP.

A little smaller than my 5.11 bag, so I had to do a little reorganizing. Used it at the range a week ago, like the bag. Got the OD Green one. My wife liked that color the best. I was able to "decorate" it with some velcro moral patches already, and I found a velcro backed ID tag for it too on Amazon, should be here in a few days.
