| I fished the southern end of Cayuga years ago. Didn't do worth a damn.

| We went to fish Cayuga last week but couldn’t get the boat running. So, we went to Sandy Pond - off Lake Ontario - to fish from shore. My buddy caught this bass on a 4” bluegill. |

Hey Brad. We were anywhere from 60 to 100 feet, depending on where the thermocline was setting up. Jigging, not trolling. Lots of fun.

| I grew up in Central NY. My father's boss had a place on Cayuga Lake. We were invited there a few times and I had fun fishing from the bank. I recall catching mostly sunnies, but catching those was lots of fun as a kid.
Off topic but a interesting fact about Cayuga Lake. The place I visited on Cayuga Lake was next door to a place owned by Rod Serling. He was the host of Twilight Zone and was also a prolific author. If you look at the end of any episode, you'll see that the name of his company was Cayuga Productions. |
