Sadly, the same website conglomerate did the same thing to two Saab car forums that I followed about 10 years ago. The websites got sold. Moderation went to hell because they had no knowledge of the cars nor the community. Site maintenance became an afterthought. Those sites became ghost towns before Govt of Sweden, GM, Spyker, NEVS, and NEVS' Chinese investors killed Saab in 2011. They don't think it be like it is, but it do. | |||

I would like to add my thanks to Para as well, plus all the members of this forum. It's gotten to the point that I spend more time on Sigforum than any other site - I may hear about headlines on the radio or news sites, but I come here to read the analysis and discussion. I've learned much and benefited greatly. | |||

Yes, thank you! Very glad there are no ads or other b/s, and appreciate Para keeping it that way. Another forum I check in at regularly is sometimes unbearable due to ads, so I do love the fact Para hasn't given in to that. This is by far my most frequented Internet site, and mostly hang out in the Lounge, even though I hardly post. Thank you Para and mods! ...Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, was just a freight train coming your way... | |||
