No More Mr. Nice Guy |
It may depend on the age of the aircraft and the paranoia of the buyer. Retrofitting a cockpit is stupid expensive, so if the aircraft is old enough it may well have more than one INS installed. Some people are somewhat paranoid about relying on just one technology, so they might have had the original aircraft equipped with both INS and GPS. Most private jets don't fly very many hours at all, so it is quite possible to have an excellent condition low hour aircraft that is several decades old. New, yeah probably a very integrated cockpit.

That plane appears to have synthetic vision. Look at the small hump on the upper part of the fuselage ahead of the cockpit. That would make me so much more confident in it. LINK CLICK

Wait, what? |
Closest I can come to the idea was flying to Hawaii several years ago for work. It’s eye opening flying over open ocean for nearly the same amount of time as it takes to cross the continental US. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

The jet posted one here earlier was not the jet I took over. I can’t post photos of the one I took. But it was the same type. It was awesome 8.5 hours just flew by. "da evil Count Glockula."-Para
