![]() Found this on the side of the road while taking our morning walk. Kershaw 1395. Looks to be about a $30 knife. An hour in the sonic cleaner to remove the grit and it works fine. I'd like to remove the staining on the blade. Thinking my first attempt will be Evaporust. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

You’re gonna get it dirty anyway. I’d just use it. Nice find.

Looks like a cool find. When I carry a folder, it’s a Kershaw (different model, a Tanto Blur). Keep us posted as the clean-up continues. "The sea was angry that day, my friends - like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli." - George Costanza

Both my EDC are Kershaw, a Chive & Scallion. The Chive is in my pocket now [shorts]. The Scallion with pants. The Enemy's gate is down.

Some Bar Keeper's Friend should clean that right up.

I don't know. Bloodstains on a knife give it a certain "character."

Good find. One of my favorite aspects of riding my bike to work. I still think about the time I found a small colt 25 auto on the side of the road going to work (time limitation). I put it in my lunch bag w/ the magazine that was several feet away. Thinking back, if I took more time, the case and other mag was probably in the same area. Was probably on a roof and fell off. Semi-regretably, I turned it into LE after I got to work. A little nervous since guns are definitely verboten. If I was as knowledgeable then as I am now, it would be in my safe. I probably made the correct decision though.

My EDC knives are both Kershaw - either a Leek or a Blur, depending on what I’m wearing. Excellent knives but cheap enough that I’m not going to cry if I lose one or have to lose one (like going through unexpected security). Nice find! -Rob I predict that there will be many suggestions and statements about the law made here, and some of them will be spectacularly wrong. - jhe888 A=A

Glad to. Simply explain where you lost it, GPS coordinates, direction of travel, my wife's great-grandmother's maiden name and date of birth and pi to 17 decimal places. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

IMHO, those Kershaw spring clips on the side lose tension over time. I have a Kershaw Leek that gets "lost" on occasion around my home or vehicle. The last time was in my front yard, by an oak tree.
