I have these and they've seen a good amount of use. The gaskets on the inside have started to deform from years of use and therefore aren't sealing.

Only the strong survive I bought my 64 oz bottle about six years ago. I measured the neck and it is 2.390 inches. You could use an o-ring but it should be food grade.
