I had a medical event recently that now requires me to exercise 2 per day, everyday. I have never listened to a pod cast, however it sounds like a way to pass the time during my PT time.

I could use some guidance on what player to use (assuming that there is more than one ) and a good source for short, 30-60 minutes or maybe longer.

Does anyone have a recommendation of subject matter, length and anything I need to watch out for? If it matters I have an iPhone 14.

I believe the Spotify app has podcasts.

I don't follow any, but know that some of the YouTube channels I watch also do podcasts (which are apparently on Spotify).

iPhone comes with Podcasts app

If you like the Office, The Office Ladies is good.

I’ve been digging into The Naked Bible with Dr. Michael Heiser.

Spotify has CarTalk with the Tappet brothers, Click and Clack.

I guess I would flip the question rather back around on you…

I mostly use the Podcast app built into my iPhone, but I also use Amazon Music to listen to the MrBallen podcast. I very much recommend that one. He tells “strange, dark, and mysterious” true stories. It’s a good way to pass the time.

The rest of what I usually listen to is political (Louder with Crowder, Matt Walsh, Michael Knows, Tim Pool daily show) and a Bible reading podcast.

I use Overcast for my podcast app.

I walk 3 miles a day and really like “Stuff you should know”. They have a great library of topics going back years and a really wide variety of, well, stuff you should know…LOL.

Use the Apple Podcast app.

I like Bret Weinstein's Darkhorse podcast. If you're into history, "The History of England" by David Crowther is very good. UnHerd with Freddie Sayers is good.

Use the Apple podcast app.

Mike Rowe has a wonderful podcast. The Way I Heard It.

Malcolm Gladwell has a fantastic podcast called revisionist history. also freakonomics.

Joe Rogan is entertaining and thought provoking but many four letter words are deployed.

There are several true crime podcasts. Look for them in that category.

Dateline NBC shows are available and entertaining. You don’t need the visuals and the audio alone is wonderful.

Aaron Mahnke has historically interesting crime stories.

there is “stuff they don’t want you to know.” and of course “stuff you should know.”

Hardcore History is excellent. However, the episodes are not short. More like 4 plus hours each. But well worth it.

I hear the 2 'stuff you should/nt know' podcasts advertised on the FM morning show I listen to on the way to work.

Might have to check those out & see if it's something I can follow while working.

I too use the Apple Podcast app. It comes with the OS, and is simple and easy to use. It comes with a Podcast search function that works pretty well.

There are thousands of pod casts available covering every subject which might interest you. If you use Apple phones, open the app and search around for titles that interest you.

Me I listen when at the gym and not much else. My go to Podcasts are mostly political. Like Ben Shapiro which is basically a replay of his radio show on DW, Michael Knowles and those types. I also listen to "the Tech Guys" with Leo Laporte. He's a flaming lefty but that doesn't creep into the shows and he's entertaining and very informative on current tech.

I used to listen to a Ton of Jocko. Started from the beginning and made it real deep before work from home started.

I used to listen to them in the car.
