Those tables are nice! It doesn’t smell like cat at all and the owner has litter boxes on every floor. The house is really clean. The house is on columns because of the flood elevation and there’s a closet on each level which are vertically aligned as a shaft in case someone wants to install an elevator. I mentioned the fireman pole suggestion and my daughter countered with a climbing wall. Then she asked for a zip line from her balcony to the cement pond.

My living room setup drives my wife crazy at times, I have Paradigm CC-350 center, Monitor 7 mains on the sides and a 10" DefTech sub. I finally replaced the rear Monitor3 surrounds with some "ok" Yamaha ceiling speakers a few years ago when I had to rob a tweeter out of one of the surrounds to put in my center channel. Using an old Integra DTR-7 receiver. She would LOVE to get some tiny cube speakers but I've won the battle every time she's pushed for replacements. Getting an 82" tv mounted on the wall actually helped me keep them since the TV is HUGE. Good luck on your hunt for the speakers (and rest of the components needed!). Eventually I'll have to replace my receiver since it's now pushing 26 years old, but it's still hanging on and doing well. ________________________

Nice monitor, but I’m waiting until Black Friday to pick it up cheap. The Klipschorns remind me of 1959. Ben Hur was on the big screen, and we had a record of the sound track. An “older guy” member of our church had been a college roommate of Paul Klipsch, and he had built his own enclosures and installed Paul’s speakers. IIRC Macintosh was the amp. Sounded amazing. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"
