3 Reasons Millennials Love Socialism

Read entire article for the full extent of the problem.
https://townhall.com/columnist...e-socialism-n2506493

Here are three simple reasons:

1) Young people want “equality.” Idealism, but not reality.

2) Young people today have a deep sense of entitlement. Probably the main reason—everything has been given to them, they never had to work for it.

3) Young socialists haven’t done the math. Math, what’s that? Even the “Common Core” version, it still doesn’t work out right.

Now she says "Medicare for all" is affordable when you factor in the savings from the funeral expenses of all of the people who die because they can't afford access to healthcare.

https://hotair.com/archives/20...-well-save-medicare/

Cortez:

"And let’s not forget that the reason that the Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act is because they ruled that each of these monthly payments that everyday American make is a tax. And so, while it may not seem like we pay that tax on April 15th, we pay it every single month or we do pay at tax season if we don’t buy, you know, these plans off of the exchange."

This is nonsense on stilts. The premium payments aren’t the tax, which should be obvious, because they don’t go to the government. The Supreme Court ruled that the penalties for non-coverage collected by the IRS was a tax, which is why they upheld the individual mandate. Most people didn’t pay it when the individual mandate was still in effect, and now no one is paying it.

Cortez:

"So, we’re paying for this system. We — Americans have the sticker shock of healthcare as it is, and what we’re also not talking about is, why aren’t we incorporating the cost of all the funeral expenses of those who died because they can’t afford access to healthcare? That is part of the cost of our system."

Er … who wants to tell her? We’re all going to generate funeral expenses at some point, because we’re all going to die, regardless of how we pay for health care

A leftist woman I know transitioned from an acquaintance to a casual friend to someone who didn’t return my last email asking how her college program was going. I’ve been a little puzzled by why she no longer wanted to discuss anything but politics as we used to like to do, but I believe now that I’ve figured it out. I can’t help but think that any intelligent, honest person with leftist leanings would be so chagrined by what’s happening on the far left these days that they couldn’t bear to be around people on the right. It’s sort of like being married to someone who was arrested for soliciting a prostitute: It may not be possible to divorce him for a number of practical reasons, including having to admit having made a huge mistake in the first place, but one doesn’t want to associate with former friends and face that embarrassment even if it’s just the elephant in the room that no one mentions.

Won’t happen, in 2 questions he can make her look like the complete fool she really is. She has problems looking semi competent on CNN, with them trying to help her.

speaking of CNN interviews with Occasionally-Cortex's...

“Of course, well, I think absolutely right now, you know she is … she is the leader of … no no, um, she is speaker — or rather leader Pelosi — hopefully we’ll see, she’s ah, she’s the current leader of the party and I think that the party absolutely does have its leadership in the House and Senate as well,” she said.

Occluded-Cortex will accept the challenge provided no math is involved, no knowledge of foreign policy is required and Shapiro agrees to use mostly one-syllable words, two syllables max, and Occluded-Cortex is allowed at least six Life Line phone calls during the debate. And positively NO real-world examples of Socialist/Communist economies are allowed to be brought to the discussion.

Boston University's School of Economics must be completely embarrassed. Not because she's a commie, they probably love that. But because she has such a profound misunderstanding of economics and inability to articulate practically anything.

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

She is a pretty face with a calming voice, but says nothing.

Even Cuomo on CNN had a hard time keeping his own face in check with that 'answer'.

Well, that is one of the essential skills of holding elective office. One must master hypocrisy, of course, before even considering a hat in the ring. If successful, that buys you time to work on sanctimony without which you have no hope of ever becoming a Senator. Only the most talented can make that cut, though.

The ability to speak without saying anything qualifies you for all sorts of powerful positions and a long career in elective office.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

That's fabulous! Perhaps a go-fund-me page should be set up as well to build up a bigger kitty. I would be willing to pitch in a few bucks.

Fans for Ben have already floated the idea, not sure if it took hold or not.

We all know she wont do it.

Don't count on it--most of them are just as clueless.
