Oh they will let you order whatever you want from Tire Rack but the "fees" at Discount Tire to actually get them on your car will be ridiculous. And watch them work out some sort of deal where Discount Tire will be the only place that will install Tire Rack tires.

We’ve used Tire Rack for years! Always had good service, and no issues. Plus they stock the larger tires as well. First I’ve heard of this, but I just checked. Yep, by the end of this year. Hope the service or selection doesn’t suffer. Last time I knew anybody went to Discount Tire, the wait for service was hours long. I just got new tires from Tire Rack in Oct, and I scheduled it a couple days in advance, and got in fairly quickly. And paid in advance too. Supposedly Tire Rack not changing the name etc.

Competition goes away and things will change and not for the better.

I've used Tire Rack for years and never and a problem. Their prices are always good and very fast shipping.

There is no way this will be a good thing.

Think back to what Cabela's was before Bass Pro took the reins.

All my vehicles wear discount tire products, as do my kids, and relatives. I have a running account with them, and have never had an issue with their service. It's been outstanding.
