Spunk, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard to say we shouldn't have done more, coulda shoulda woulda and all that.

The reality is, he didn't listen to you. He was a grown man and had a place on his own.

We can't be in all places at once and we can't run the lives of others.

I'm sure this brings you no peace or consolation, but it is the truth. Hopefully time will allow this wound to heal in some way.

You are in my prayers.

One of my Troops had her Nephew killed last week over a "baby mama" issue. Tragic. So sorry for you loss.

I agree with this, don't beat yourself up over it, in the end he is a grown up and made the decisions he made, despite the great advice you gave him. I am very sorry for your loss.
