Academy will often have Redfield safes on sale between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I bought a large one a couple of years ago from there for a good price.

Good luck.

Decent, not great products, but I will never buy anything from Vedder again - they send spam daily. YMMV.

As retail shifts more to online vs in-store, it makes less sense to wait until the Fri after Thanksgiving to start big sales. I am in favor of Thanksgiving/Black Friday week sales. It's less stressful waiting for all the deals to hit the same day.

Caution re Vedder gun belts: I have one, with a good Cobra buckle. The webbing is worn to the point that it needs to be replaced. I live fairly near Vedder, contacted them, asked if I could drop the belt off for them to replace the webbing. Nope, unlike The Wilderness, Vedder will not replace webbing for one of their own belts.

I'll stick with The Wilderness for nylon belts.

The complete 3 book Calvin and Hobbes hardcover set is on sale for $86 on Prime. I think that's about 50% original price.

ETA: The series is very nice - very heavy weight paper. Seems printed well. But made in chicom (didn't know beforehand). One thing to note: each book (of 3) is VERY heavy. Making the whole set very heavy. This is not something kids will carry around. It's more like something you need both hands and lift w/ your legs....

Good to know, but I grabbed one of their $40 dual layer leather with polymer stiffener gun belts.

My old Rafter S gun belt has served me well for over a decade. But it's tired, boss...

… and here I thought I was familiar with every brand name in golf… Ask Echo is new to me. Have you owned any of their stuff before? That “quiet” divider top looks interesting. Does it work?

I got new wheels and an exhaust system for my new (to me) Cayman S. Saved enough to buy the new python that has been staring me down at the fun store.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
