As retail shifts more to online vs in-store, it makes less sense to wait until the Fri after Thanksgiving to start big sales. I am in favor of Thanksgiving/Black Friday week sales. It's less stressful waiting for all the deals to hit the same day. | |||

Caution re Vedder gun belts: I have one, with a good Cobra buckle. The webbing is worn to the point that it needs to be replaced. I live fairly near Vedder, contacted them, asked if I could drop the belt off for them to replace the webbing. Nope, unlike The Wilderness, Vedder will not replace webbing for one of their own belts. The complete 3 book Calvin and Hobbes hardcover set is on sale for $86 on Prime. I think that's about 50% original price. ETA: The series is very nice - very heavy weight paper. Seems printed well. But made in chicom (didn't know beforehand). One thing to note: each book (of 3) is VERY heavy. Making the whole set very heavy. This is not something kids will carry around.
