I think of this one every day I'm at work.

Before I changed it a few years back, this one was my signature quote.

Strive to live your life so when you wake up in the morning and your feet hit the floor, the devil says "Oh crap, he's up."

Thanks to Para years back, mine is my CUT.

To me it just means that even though we may try to hold on to the past or go back to another time in our lives, we truly can't. Life is about creating new memories, living in the present and always moving forward.

Thru high school I had a desk in my bedroom that had a blotter on it. The newspaper would run a quote of the day and I would cut out the ones I liked and tape them to my blotter.

My signature line is one my favorites, and another I liked and had taped to my desk was from Eleanor Roosevelt:

quote:
Do what you know in your heart to be right, for you will be criticized anyway.

“Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.”
