So sorry to hear. I’m sure she knew she was THE bestest doggie…EVER!

My 14 year old, Twiggy, crossed over recently, but I couldn’t bring myself to post about her. I didn’t know where to start. I have a pretty good idea how y’all are feeling, so prayers sent.

What a beautiful dog. So sorry for her passing, but if there truly is a god, you'll see her again some day when its your time. I personally look forward to that day when I see all of mine again.

Thank you all for the kind words. She went to sleep in my arms one last time and then peacefully crossed over.

Having done this before and knowing it was coming still doesn’t prepare you.

I don’t think I can ever do it again.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

I tell myself that every time too....and then have my heart stolen by another hairy friend. The pain at the end is significant, but it never outweighs the years of happiness and love.

Very true and don't forget the happiness you can bring to a new furry friend when you are ready.

I love that pic of her as a puppy running in the snow.
You did good, dad. She was lucky to have you all. And likewise.

What a beautiful tribute to a beloved best friend. My deepest condolences on this most difficult loss. Godspeed Sheila. Biggest hugs.

If it won't matter in 5 years don't give it more than 5 minutes.

Sorry for your loss.

I last did it 22 months ago and I think I'm almost ready to find another faithful companion.
