Foolish mortals! I give you wrinkles for your insolence!

It is not one hour later. You cannot do that. It is the same time now as it was yesterday, and if you find that confusing, it is because I put a curse on you, to make you drowsy this morning, and vaguely unsettled. And surly Mad

Even your pets- your dog, your cat, your goldfish (ok, maybe not your goldfish) know that you cannot change time. You LIE!! They accuse you with their eyes! You are accused by goldfish!

Your coffee will not help you. Plus, April 15th is now closer because of your arrogance and human stupidity! HA!

I really wish they’d do away with this nonsense.

It screws up young children, my kids will be off for a week or longer now.

Oregon is trying to do away with it, just need Washington and California to get on board with it.

This change has no effect on my life - I live in Arizona. Every day is the same - warm and sunny.

I kept this information from Siri, and yet she still changed the time on my phone. If she didn't talk to me in that lovely South African accent I'd have gotten rid of her long ago, but alas, she soothes my weary mind.

Personally I wish they'd just leave DST all year for the extra hour of daylight after 6pm, rather than before 6am.

Time has come today
Young hearts can go their way
Can't put it off another day
I don't care what others say
They say we don't listen anyway
Time has come today
(Hey)

Oh
The rules have changed today (hey)
I have no place to stay (hey)
I'm thinking about the subway (hey)
The love has flown away (hey)
My tears have come and gone (hey)
Oh my Lord, I have to roam (hey)
I have no home (hey)
I have no home (hey)

Now the time has come (time)
There's no place to run (time)
I might get burned up by the sun (time)
But I had my fun (time)
I've been loved and put aside (time)
I've been crushed by the tumbling tide (time)
And my soul has been psychedelicized (time)

Or, instead of requiring the world to play games with the clocks, we could just agree that a workday is 07:00-16:00, forever, and then I wouldn’t be fooling around with every clock twice a year. As for just staying on DST all year, why not stick with something empirical, like the sun being generally overhead at 12:00?

If you really wanted to make me happy, the world would use one time. UTC (GMT), all the time, everywhere. Imagine how much easier it would be if the whole world ran on Zulu! Each time zone would instead be a “work zone,” where the agreed upon workday began at UTC+/-*. Since I’m in the Mountain Time Zone, we’d simply know that Tango time starts our workday at 01:00. I admit that this would take some getting used to since a calendar day would only correspond to an actual day in Greenwich, but I think it wouldn’t take that long to adapt. It’ll never happen, but I can dream. Hell, we can’t even handle the kilometer.

Why Daylight Saving Time Messes With Your Brain

To “spring forward” is more damaging to our health than to “fall back,” according to some surprising science.

It's an hour. One HOUR. Roll Eyes

Ever get up at 0500 instead of 0600? Holy cow! That'll fuck your life up serious-like! Same as sleeping in until 0700. The horror!

That people make such a big deal out of this cracks me up.

I will state, however, that I hate DST. In my portion of the time zone it stays light until nearly 2300 in the summer. Fuck that.
