| Naaaah. Higgins will be a tranny and Magnum will be played by a female. Mustaches will be banned for all characters as they represent toxic masculinity. The set will be tiny houses with safe spaces and the car will be a Prius. No one can wear Hawaiian shirts as that's cultural appropriation. Each week will be a new adventure promoting social justice and diversity. Fun for all of your constitutionally protected family.

Actually, the original Higgins was already in that general neighborhood. Higgy-baby, indeed. |

| TC will have moments of "levity" where he identifies as a woman and the (now female) Magnum character, feeling the need to console confused TC after being kicked out of the women's restroom, will engage shim in lesbian coitus.

They are definitely out of good ideas for sure. They are also infected and shackled with PC requirements. I read an article a while back that said that every new show must have a gay character or storyline and must have minority lead characters. It's complete and total nonsense.

| CBS, with their new Star Trek Discovery which has a homosexual couple sharing an intimate scene together in their quarters and the use of 2 F-bombs by all in one show, what could go wrong with the new Magnum P.I.?

I give that Star Trek thing like a few more weeks and it's done. it's not even on a channel.

Well, it's just so much easier to file off the serial numbers and slap a coat of rainbow paint on the old one.

| I know someone will slam me for my view. Magnum wasn't really all that good of a show. But, it maintained a solid predictability. The characters were all likable. The plots were so so. But, the combination was magic. I watched the first episode when it premiered and watched it faithfully every Thursday night at 7. And eventually watched Simon and Simon at 8 when it finally came out. It was the right characters, at the right time, and the right setting. Hell, Magnum was a SEAL before we knew what SEALs did. He lived in a guest house and drove a Ferrari. Played a cheap knock off of Pac Man. Was the ultimate child who refused to grow up. No way CBS pulls it off again. I doubt that I'll even try to watch it. Without Magnum (Selleck), TC (Mosley), Rick (Manetti) and Higgins (Hillerman) it is not Magnum. |

| Hollyweird re-made Baywatch this year and if I remember correctly, it fell flat on its face. Hollywood and TV are both completely out of ideas.
