Almost always, they start out in the high side against the 2nd, and then snowball turn to supporting the 2nd. And the majority of them either stop "taking votes" or disappear.
No one should be surprised that they are agenda driven, and when no longer useful for the agenda, they die.
And I do not believe any of it will change the mind of a true anti type, no matter what the outcome.
