Thanks flashguy for putting up your Christmas pix I mentioned in the op. I love that pix. It is a classic. It is one of my two most favorite pix of all time on the SF. The other is the member who the rifle section is named after. He died many years ago. Was a highly respected member. The pix of him in his hot tub with his cat is also a classic. One of the Choir members took me to lunch today, to a place that specializes in pies. Because it was my birthday they gave me a piece of pie for free--I chose chocolate meringue, and it was good. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth | |||

The restaurant was Judy's Café in Garland. It's on the NE corner of Jupiter and Campbell Roads in a little L-shaped shopping center. Why do you ask, since you're in Florida? I ate what I usually do at that place: hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and green beans. Had a cup of chicken dumpling soup first. A very good meal (very good sized portions, too). They typically have more than a dozen different kinds of pie, all baked on site. Happy Birthday on whichever date you chose to celebrate. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth | |||
