In all the talk about the shutdown, this I don't get. FY18 NDAA became law 12 Dec 2017. In 15 years of AD with multiple gov shutdowns (including one while deployed) our funding was still there, we still got paid, there was no impact. | |||

...says the RNC. Sorry, no. The RNC is a substantial portion of the swamp. President Trump is draining the swamp and you're getting in the way. You are, quite literally, part of the problem, so take your dishonest attempts at opportunistic fundraising and cram them where the sun shines not. Americans who know what's going on do not consider the RNC their ally. End of story. | |||

OTOH, think what will be the first bill introduced if, as, and when the God Damned Commies have a majority in the House. As former Congressman David Crockett is supposed to have said, “Be sure you’re right, then go ahead.” If you can’t bring yourself to give to RNC, figure out a way to get the money to Trump’s organization, or to a local candidate. Now, barring utter catastrophe, there is no way an impeachment resolution makes it passed the Senate, but why have the distraction? It doesn’t MAGA, in any way. We could use half a dozen more Senators, too, while your purses are open. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
