This is just wrong on so many levels:
https://www.kingsford.com/prod...r-grilling/beercoal/I have consumed a lot of beer and charcoal over the years, but never once thought of mixing them in any way.

DrDanThe concept is a crime against humanity. However, I do see that is probably the only good use for Miller Lite, so there is that.

Nothing wrong w/ cooking w/ beer. That cheap stuff is actually pretty good for cooking.
I'll let someone else try out the beercoal. I can't imagine how it would be better than using beer/wine/ or whatever.

WaterburyBobI would think you'd be better off marinating whatever you were cooking with cheap beer rather than using that charcoal.

CPD SIGWhen cheap and cheap meet.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but…
I much rather soak wood in beer or cheap bourbon to enhance the smoke flavor, but charcoal briquettes? I don’t know how well this is going to work out.

You sure got that right. I suspect that in a direct comparison Horse Urine would probably win the taste test.
I've stopped counting.

FenderBenderI'm always awestruck by these pure marketing "collaboration" products. I can't imagine this has any effect on the charcoal of any kind.

dsietsThis beercoal thing sounds like it's an attempt at being both a floor wax AND a dessert topping.

But they forgot to name it "Shimmer."
