Nothing wrong w/ cooking w/ beer. That cheap stuff is actually pretty good for cooking.
I'll let someone else try out the beercoal. I can't imagine how it would be better than using beer/wine/ or whatever.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but… I much rather soak wood in beer or cheap bourbon to enhance the smoke flavor, but charcoal briquettes? I don’t know how well this is going to work out.

If you haven’t cooked brats in a bbq pan full of onions and miller high life then take em out and put em on the grate for a few min to get the outside crispy you’re just not doing it right
