Turn 73 this spring. Gave up my 30-06 a few years back because I didn't like its recoil and replaced it with a .260 Rem and realized I didn't like the 06's recoil back when I was in my 20s. Still shoot my trusty 1911s in .45 and my favorite .38 Super but am slowly replacing the .45 with the 10mm. Have trouble walking sometimes, arthritis hurts like hell at others, and forget things I used to remember but hell I still enjoy life and have a lot of good memories to which my wife of 51 years and I try hard to add to every day. Quit worrying about age and just enjoy life and thank God every morning he lets you see the sun rise. Life is to be lived so go do it, don't worry about your limitations rather figure out how to do what you want in spite of them.

I'm 57 and still do the things I did when I was younger, I certainly don't feel 57 shoot my .357 sig all the time with no issues, I fish the rugged coastal rivers here in Oregon on foot and in a drift boat for steelhead and salmon. Never give up.

take a tape measure and lay it on the ground take a guess at how long by the inches you will live then look at your age in inches and see how much has gone by and what you have left. Smile

Turned 50 last month and I'm still doing pretty good. There's some gray hair but not as much as most of my friends. Still have most of my hair although it has receded a little.
Vision is still decent but not what it used to be. Still doing fine shooting pistols and rifles.
Tired more than I used to be but all in all, I can't complain. Getting older ain't all that bad.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

I'll be 35 pretty soon. Thank you for that. Motivating and sobering at any age. That's all I have.
