I'm gonna have to disagree with you a bit. I think Cenk Uygur the host of "The Young Turks", did a good job for his side of things. Ben Shapiro was great, and I agree with Ben on all of these things but I think that Cenk comes across as a reasonable advocate for the other side. He doesn't come across as "unhinged". This made it a good debate rather than the "absolute massacre" you see on a nightly basis from Tucker Carlson with his weak minded guests. "Some things are apparent. I think both sides thought their guy won. Cenk pandered to emotion and Google. Ben unloaded 10 times the amount of data Cenk did, from my view, Ben won by a mile. I thought it was great. I think I'd like to see Milo debate Cenk. | |||

Cenk got him with the big government vs. small government argument. He's right that many conservatives do like big government and restrictions when it favors their viewpoint. Shapiro had a decent rebuttal, but ultimately Cenk is right. | |||

Absolutely correct. Cenk, like all current socialists (i.e. Dem's) simply talks out of his ass about feel good nonsense like free college and Medicare for all. Although there is 'zero' rational means to economically support such programs, neither Cenk or the people who think he has a clue care about any of that. Reality for many has simply left the building for good. And for the record, I am a white voter living in the south. Ben is incredibly quick on his feet, and well prepared. Cenk is much more akin to a run-of-the-mill media pundit. Not trying to derail the thread, but this seems as good a place to post this... Here's 3 hours of Sam Harris winning, as I recall, every single argument against Cenk, mostly on the topic of Islam. Harris is one of those rare intellectually honest liberals, a.k.a. a "Classical Liberal," who's brutally honest about Islam. You can see a times how frustrated he gets with Cenk's thick skull. How about this. Ben won the debate on the facts, Cenk won the debate on mental masturbation.
