Who's the liar? And don't say 'both of them' If you live in Georgia, you probably know what I'm referring to. _______________________________________________ “What sickens me about left-wing people, especially the intellectuals, is their utter ignorance of the way things actually happen.” ~ George Orwell "That's one thing about intellectuals. Ugh. I haven't watched the race closely at all to decide which of the two is lesser of the evils yet. Burt is already Lt gov. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster.

I wasn't too familiar with either the candidates of this issue, so I asked Grok. Looks like Jackson has an online job posting website for individuals and business entities and there were some ads posted there for individual positions by Planned Parenthood or their subsidies. Similar to Ziprecrutier and others. These don't seem to be done by Jackson and he probably wasn't even aware of them. I don't have a dog in this fight, other than being an under-informed voter at this point. If your interested, here's the text I found on Grok or submit your own version of the question to see what comes up for you. The last paragraph summarizes if you don't want to read the whole thing. ______________________________________________ From Grok; The Basis for the Attacks: LocumTenens.com Job BoardThe claims center on LocumTenens.com, a subsidiary (or closely affiliated company) under the Jackson Healthcare umbrella. Co-founded by Jackson in the mid-1990s, it functions as a large, free, self-service online job board for healthcare positions—similar to Monster.com, Indeed, or ZipRecruiter—where employers (hospitals, clinics, etc.) can post openings, and clinicians can search/apply. It serves over 90% of top U.S. hospitals, places thousands of clinicians annually, and covers many medical specialties. breitbart.com Planned Parenthood postings: Critics (including Breitbart and Jones' campaign) point to job listings posted on the site for roles at Planned Parenthood facilities, such as a bilingual nurse position in Minnesota that references advocacy for "reproductive and sexual health." These are employer-posted ads; the site allows open posting. breitbart.com Transgender-related listings: Examples include pediatric endocrinologist roles mentioning care for "transgender patients" (including minors) at other facilities. Defense explanation: Jackson Healthcare and supporters state the company does not review, edit, approve, recruit for, or manage these postings. It is a passive platform—anyone can post jobs, and Jackson's team has no involvement in filling them or "placing staff" directly. They argue linking Jackson personally to Planned Parenthood or specific procedures is a "broad leap" and fabrication, as the board is used industry-wide by thousands of organizations. doncole.com Jones' campaign has doubled down despite the lawsuit, claiming the company "connects doctors" to such facilities and has received significant state contracts (nearly $1 billion since 2020 for staffing during events like the pandemic). Some defenders of Jackson note that staffing "doctors' offices like Planned Parenthood" is vague and unproven as a core revenue source. atlantanewsfirst.com Context and Broader PictureThis dispute is part of a heated GOP primary fight (May 19, 2026), with Jones using the issue to portray Jackson as insufficiently conservative on abortion and related topics. Jackson counters by highlighting his business success, foster care advocacy, and pro-life stance. No public evidence shows Jackson or his core companies directly contracting with Planned Parenthood, owning clinics, performing procedures, or deriving primary revenue from it. The link is indirect via the open job board. Jackson has sued Jones for defamation over these and related claims (e.g., transgender procedures on minors), seeking to block what he calls false attacks. atlantanewsfirst.com In summary, the "relationship" is a campaign controversy rather than a documented partnership or employment tie. Critics use job board listings to imply complicity; Jackson and defenders call it guilt by association on a public platform and deny any personal or corporate endorsement/support. Jackson positions himself as pro-life with no direct involvement. For the latest developments, check court filings or campaign statements, as the primary is ongoing. 3 posts 47 web pages Details on Jackson's pro-life donations Burt Jones campaign controversies Auto ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

I agree. Nobody jumps out to me as a candidate I'd really like to see win. I'll look closer as time goes on to see, as usual, who I don't like they decided if any stand out as the lesser of evils. Sad commentary on present day politics. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

Same here Rick Jackson has ads playing at every commercial break on every TV news station in North Georgia, and frankly, I'm sick of it. And now, the Jones faction is pushing back and it's disgusting. A Jackson commercial plays, immediately followed by a Jones commercial, countering the Jackson claims, and so forth. I'm skeptical of Jackson's "My mama was a crack ho and abandoned me as a child and I ate rats and stole bananas to survive." The subtext seems to be "I may be a billionaire, but I'm trash, just like you." _______________________________________________ “What sickens me about left-wing people, especially the intellectuals, is their utter ignorance of the way things actually happen.” ~ George Orwell "That's one thing about intellectuals. Before Jackson entered the race there were those ads attacking Jones that no one took credit for. If we believe those ads he made a great fortune during his time as lt. Gov. Imagine , an elected official getting very rich serving the public. Then along comes Jackson , the self admitted ticket scalper, to challenge Jones. Was Jackson responsible for those earlier ads? Apparently Jackson made a fair amount of money during Covid supplying medical workers via state contracts. So it appears we have two candidates who have enriched themselves at the state trough. I think we are going to miss Kemp mightily

Jackson wants to be the fox in the henhouse as far as I can tell. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster.

Considering we have two Democratic Senators; I think Kemp will be the last Republican Governor we see for a while. With two weak candidates like those two it's not going to help. Going to miss Kemp I think he has done a really good job.

Kemp is/was a fantastic governor. The last great Democrat governor was Zell Miller. He'd be considered a Republican today. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster.

This first vote is a primary and i think there are four or five running. The Senator situation was different. Trump really pushed for Kelly Loefler and Hershel Walker. She has a wealthy and influential husband and Walker was a big UGA football star, as most probably know. Neither was really qualified, except for those dubious connections. Others, like popular Congressman Doug Collins were passed over. Of the two that did get elected, Rev. Warnock is the worst. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

Brad Raffensperger is running as well. The MAGA wing won't go for him because he was seen as not helping "If you're not for me you're against me" Trump. I'm so disaffected now. Maybe that's the goal? Got a mailer from the jackson campaign. They highlighted all the burt flaws and had citations to news stories. Most if not all of the citations were 10 years old including the video poker stuff. Who is the liar? I'm not really sure. burt hasn't really done anything noteworthy as lt gov

My take I don’t like how Rick Jackson presented his childhood. To me he tried to use it in a way to gain sympathy not show toughness. (My wife doesn’t like he talked shit about his mom) I would vote for Kemp II. I don’t think we have the same issues in our state that we have nationally that Trump was elected to clean up. Our swamp doesn’t run as big or nearly as deep. We need a gov who will push back on growing blue state coalition. Burt. I despise the attack adds that started long before Rick Jackson entered the race. “Georgians for Integrity “. Is a dark money group who hides the accusers. That’s not right. He has been painted as the career politician which is a problem nationally and locally. We will never get term limits in my lifetime but we can give career politicians term limits at the ballot box. The Burt Jones tv commercial Rick Jackson is running where Burt praises Rick Jackson is pretty powerful. That was filmed in December 2025. In four short months you went from praising him to attacking him. Kind of feeds the career politician will say anything. I’m leaning Rick Jackson ------------------------------ Smart is not something you are but something you get. Chi Chi, get the yayo

What about Carr or even Raffensperger in the primary. If it comes down to either Jackson or Jones in the general election I'll probably hold my nose and vote for them instead of the democrat. But, ugh!
