There is the toughest thing to deal with, at least for me. Any suggestions?

Your choice hard water spot remover and a very fine steel wool or bronze wool. _____________ "I enter a swamp as a sacred place—a sanctum sanctorum. There is the strength—the marrow of Nature." - Henry David Thoreau

Decent product, but it won't do any good on auto windows unless you prep them first (i.e. remove all the existing water spots and contaminants). Glass is a bitch to prep given how hard it is, and how contaminants can etch into it. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. I have used this glass polish to remove water spots on my truck windows: https://www.amazon.com/IMAR-Pr...122&s=gateway&sr=8-3 Since then, I have learned from this forum that optical grade cerium oxide that is made into a paste will work as well: https://www.amazon.com/Optical...e%2Caps%2C115&sr=8-2

IMAR makes an excellent glass polish. The one Suppressed linked to. I use it a lot on yacht windows. Polish them out according to the directions and then rain-x afterwards.

If it is a car or a boat I wouldn't go anywhere near it with steel wool! On my vehicles I polish the windows, inside and out, with Aqua Tech Water Spot remover. I follow up outside with Rain X. On the boat that I run I used to use that method but switched to a different system called Clear Glass. It lasts a lot longer than Rain X. I wouldn't spend the money to use on a car or truck though. I DO use the Aqua Tech and Rain X on the shower doors. The key with any system is polishing the window properly. Griots Garage also has glasss polishing products.
