It seems as though three canines passed on and were sitting just outside the Rainbow Bridge seeking admittance. This particular day, the Lord himself, sitting on a fine chair, was on-duty. He asked the first dog, a German Shephard, why he felt he should be admitted. The dog replied that he had been a loyal companion that had protected his family against all threats for years. The Lord said "You're in, come and sit by my side in this adjacent chair." The Lord asked the second dog, a Golden Retriever, why he should be admitted. The dog replied that he also had been a loyal companion that had provided his family with love, playfulness, and joy for many years. The Lord said "You're also in, come sit by my side in this other chair. The the Lord asked the third dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, why he should be admitted. The dog looked at the Lord and replied "You're sitting in my chair!"
