I too am a mlb fan. Long suffering mariner fan. I agree with cope. We are cooked. Starting the 44 yo ichuro in left, for God's sake. Worst starting rotation in the big leagues or surely in the worst five. Should have a potent lineup. But outscoring your opponent when you have horrible pitching never works. I will be surprised if they finish above Oakland and Texas. What is worse is that the mariners farm system was rated the worst in the majors a couple of months ago. The Royals are rebuilding, but I’m optimistic that they will out perform expectations and be competitive. Love seeing the young players playing their butts off for a position on the team. Don’t think we’ok miss Hoz all that much. We still have a slugger named Moose, all arounder like Whit and my buddy Esky. Hope Gordon returns to a more consistent hitter. Bring it boys! Astros should be right there again at the end of Sept. Picked up a good starter- Gerrit Cole from the Pirates. Power from top to the bottom in the batting order. Glad they're in the AL West, get to see Mike Trout several times. | |||
