When does early voting start for you?

In Virginia, early voting begins Sept 20th. I plan to be there on opening day.

Don't forget that our margin of victory must exceed their margin of fraud.

A month and a half before Election Day?

That seems excessively early...

Early voting only starts two weeks beforehand around here. October 21st.

I’d argue that since their tactic is to wait until after all the voting is done to “find” ballots, that early voting does us zero favors.

I’m voting on Election Day, in person.

I believe this is exactly why Trump prevailed in 2016.

The GDCs failed to realize the vote that came in for DJT.

To the point Hillary had no concession speech and they could not comprehend what happened or how to face it.

The early voting gives them another front for shenanigans.

I will not be in the country for early voting in NC. I went online and requested a mail in ballot which was supposed to be mailed out starting on 9/6 but we haven’t received ours yet… If I don’t get one in the next three days or so I’m going to make some calls…

Theoretically, doesn't that just give you MORE time to cheat? Time to lose ballots cast for my opponant, the ability to know just how many more fake ballots I need?

Me, too.

As much as I think I'd like to "plant my flag" and make my point early, I think it's equally important to show up on Election Day, in person to cast my vote.

I understand there's good reason for some to vote early -- work travel, deployments, even planned hospitalizations. At the same time, though, I figure Election Day is THE day to vote. As for early voting itself, I think six weeks is way too early.

I do recognize that I'm fortunate to live very near my polling place, and can usually be there early enough to be among the first dozen people in line.

God bless America.

This!!!

I don't care that PDJT is calling on us to do so, I'm voting on Election Day (for him, of course) and not earlier. Growing up in Chicago and stuck in Illinois nearly all my life, I'm constantly dealing with Democrat corruption, and will do everything in my power to prevent them from stealing my vote!!!

In my state, early voting begins October 15. I don't think there will be long lines on election day. So many people now vote early for fear of long lines. Truth be told, the only voting lines I've encountered in recent years have been for early voting.

I'm not in a position to guess which choice is better. Surely there are people knowledgeable abut such things, who could speak to the advantages or disadvantages of early voting. Can anyone provide a source that's not opinion-based?

Oct 21 to Nov 2 in SC. I'll be voting around the end of Oct, otherwise I'd vote on election day.

The only way to beat the cheat is to stop the cheat from happening in the first place.

If you're playing poker with a cheat, do you just hope you can draw better cards or bluff better than the cheat? No. You insist on putting steps in place to keep the cheat from cheating.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Votes aren't really necessary, it's the ballots that win elections now. It's gonna be a race for who can find the most lost ballots after the election. Which of course, is absurd. Not one single ballot should be allowed after the polls close.

I'm firmly in the "vote in person on election day camp", simply because that feels like the correct way to do it. It seems like the earlier voting begins the more time there is to have the fix in. That may or may not be true, and maybe the larger problem is the electronic machines. Regardless it's difficult to find actual statistics that aren't opinion based. My plan is to vote for Trump in person on election day.

Realistically, living in Alaska with our 3 whole electoral college votes and the last polls to close besides Hawaii, the outcome will most likely be known to everyone before I ever cast my vote after work.

Listening to Bongino he made mention of some reports coming out that “electric voting machine issues” may arise on election night. Reports from a government agency. One of the big reasons I may vote early for the first time in my life.

I understand the appeal of Election Day voting. I feel it also. But This is too important.

I want to bank my vote as early as possible so no last minute sickness or accident or technical snafu can keep me from the polls. Also voting early frees you up to help with telephone get out the vote drives.

But if you need a personal reason, campaigns get updates on who has voted and who hasn't. Once you've voted, they stop calling. That allows them to focus their efforts on those who haven't voted, and your phone stops ringing.

Win / Win.

A massive margin of victory will...

Listen to me, gentlemen: STOP saying this defeatist shit here. S-T-O-P

I'm not going to listen to some of you piss and moan that we can't win. I don't want to be associated with people who give up before a battle is fought.

I will lock this thread and if the same kind of comments pop up in other threads, I'll start handing out disciplinary action.

Grow a pair. Stop thinking you're being so wise by saying that we can't win. No one wants to listen to this shit, least of all, me.

The closer we get to November 5th, the more militant I will become in response to such comments.

Anyone who has any questions, ask them now.

Plus the plethora of problems voting precincts have on Election Day. And I’m not even talking about nefarious stuff. We had a wide spread power outage one year due to bad weather. Here you cast a paper ballot, and it’s scanned in to a machine. You have to show ID, and the ballot is matched to the ID and voter roles. So there isn’t “finding” ballots that are mysterious. The ballots are kept and random
Audits are conducted in county precincts to ensure the totals match the computer generated tally.

In my state, the votes will be counted and everyone will be in bed by 9. They have a good system in place and it works.
