Never heard of Streambox before. There are plenty of streaming solutions out there: Roku being the best-known. I like our Amazon Fire TV devices. Haven't tried Apple TV yet, but I plan to. Some like the Nvidia Shield. Straight Android TV is probably the weakest.

Streambox looks like simply an Android TV box with a crap-ton of apps pre-loaded. Probably nothing you couldn't get with a $65 MiBox 3 from Walmart and load whatever apps you want.

N.B.: You can't get Amazon Prime Video with most Android TV devices and current MiBox 3 Android TV firmware is badly broken. So I'm not recommending that solution, per se.
