I just want to know how to get in on the "$400 Swiss watch”. Is this a group buy? You could get a Submariner for a little under $400 in 1970, but they go for $12,000 or more these days. I guess I should have cut back on cable TV, internet, and cell phones back then. Gas was $.36 a gallon then. Seems like a Rolex was a bargain.

Inflation sucks. Rising gas prices suck. 18% interest rates suck. Wars suck. Jimmy Carter, ya he sucked too. And yet we’ve lived through these. I’d trade my Apple IIe for and iPhone 12 Pro any day of the week. My point being, how many people can say they are worse off now than they were 40 or 50 years ago. It might not be that everything around you sucks…
