Ice fishing is on my bucket list . Down here in Louisiana we don't get that opportunity... Big Grin

You rock! Curling has already started.

Curling is a bit like golf. When you are younger you say "I'll watch that years from now when I'm old".

Well....guess what ?

Let me know if you're ever in the area I'll be happy to take you out. Just bypass Mpls. St Paul on your way here. Cool

I have found that ice fishing, while entertaining, (more so than the Super Bowl) is best enjoyed while drunk.

Yes. We used to ride dirtbikes around town after it snowed. Studded and unstudded knobbies. And I was the monkey on the hack in a sidecar race on ice once.

Got a couple of beers and a frozen supreme pizza (as those other folks no doubt will have the pizzerias' delivery guys running in circles). A bit over half-way to Spring! I'm celebrating it.

All week at the gym..ESPN or Fox Sports, or whatever. All those shows all during my workouts which vary in time depending on the day. They got the desks outside of the stadium, talking about this or that. Then showing gambling odds, etc. I mean for fuksakes the game is on Sunday right? You need to fill a whole week of hype and bullshit? I mean I get a single show on, on ESPN, but this was multiple channels all day everyday. What do these people who live and die with this shit do once this is over? Pivot to getting all hyped up on the upcoming candy/flowers day/hallmark bullshit holiday?

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

It is an athletic competition event. Nothing more, nothing less. Same as golf, baseball, basketball, volleyball, olympics, etc. Remote control is a tool to adjust what you want to see and hear. I will be tuning into the Turning point half time show. Good day folks. Wink

I followed the Houston pro football teams since they started. A few years ago I got a belly full of the woke crap and excess BS of the NFL. I can’t summon up any enthusiasm for pro sports.

I’m content with following my college alma mater UH. That’s enough for me.
