Six. All kids of friends from work. I loaded them down with candy. Mom and dad all each got an adult beverage. Either a single serving bottle of cheap Merlot, a cold beer, or a airplane bottle of Seagrams 7.

Erin took 2 bottles of whiskey, which was fine. Wink

Thankfully the same as they last 8 years.

0.

Then again our house is 'scary' and trespassers get run off, so I don't blame them.

About 150.

I live in a 'hood with 7th SF folks, AFSOC and retired military, and quite a few chirrenz.
(it's more like "post/base housing" LOL)

I think I like the 4-10 crowd the best.

But even the few young teens were costumed and very respectful. (I changed my view on them, realizing they are having fun and not out disappointing their forebears)

But temps dropped to 50F, it was breezy, and the really small ones were not real happy.

When we moved to this house 15 years ago we had less than 10. Times have changed and my wife stopped counting at 40. We keep the light on until 8 PM. I hide with the dogs in a back room, she enjoys giving seeing the kids and a lot of the parents dressed up, too.

As above, none as in zero (0). Some years we do get a few, like 2 or 3. The weather was crappy, along with the fact that I live along the river. It gives the icy cold wind plenty of room to pick up speed. From an economic standpoint, trick or treating along my stretch doesn't make much sense as the other side of the road is riverbank. Can't come up one side and down the other. My neighborhood is rapidly becoming "Detroit" on the Ohio. I live here. But the horror show next door has been vacant for the last 14 years. Then the guy in the next house down travels so is never home. The third house after that is also now vacant. Up the road is on a hill. Stupid to climb it and the residents all play not home because they're too cheap to give away bits of sugar.

Zero trick or treaters.

New house, new development. I think there are two kids in the neighborhood, but never really see them.

It rained for 2 days but stopped about 4 PM yesterday and the temperature dropped to the 40’s and the winds picked up.

My son turned 13 this month and decided he wasn't going to go out and didn't want to hand out candy. He watched the bball game with me instead. I kinda felt like a prude, but I had a lot more fun with him watching a basketball game than running all over the neighbor hood.

About 10...

No sidewalks or lights in our neighborhood.

Long driveways too...which slow the treat production time.

Most kids here will drive to local breeding-colonies with better bang for the buck.

The weather wasn't great so we only had about 14 or 15 in comparison to the usual 40-60.

The highlight of the evening was when a little girl (maybe 5?) and her stormtrooper little brother approached. I asked about her costume since I didn't recognize it. She told me (and I still didn't recognize it) and then she pointed to her little brother and said, "He's a stormtrooper." She quietly added, "That's from Star Wars."

I waited until they were gone and the door was closed before I started laughing.

About 75. Many are driven to our neighborhood, I guess because they figure we give out good stuff. I'm fine with that as long as they are not teenagers, are polite and don't come after 8:30 which is our cut off time. All were fine this year with some cute costumes.

None. We had a raging wind and rain storm going. But we seldom get more than 1 or 2 anyway.

Edited to add: We live in a neighborhood of fairly large wooded lots, no street lights and a lot of loooong driveways. Our driveway is about 150 yards long. Probably one of the very longest.
