For some sports, like NASCAR, it won't make much of a difference to me. But for games that feed off fan enthusiasm, like College Basketball for instance, I think it will make a difference. Like pawprintsdoc mentioned - I'm not sure I'll like it.
What I like is sports as usual - which it needs to be ASAP. It's ridiculous that some people are already talking about postponing sporting events in 2021.

Yes. I'm a Formula 1 fan.
I have no fucks to give if there are no fans in attendance.

I don't care if there is a crowd at an F1 or MotoGP race. Like someone mentioned, no fan reaction shots interfering with race coverage.

I usually listen to MLB on XM, so I don't care if there's a crowd or not. I just miss baseball.

From what I've read, EPL (English soccer) is going to reopen in empty stadiums. I'll watch or listen, but I will miss the fans and their, uh, enthusiasm.

Sure, I don't care if there are people around me, I'm there to watch the game.

Yes. There’s a UFC fight scheduled for this weekend, and I’m excited to have it back.

Good point about F1, I watch those on occasion and that would be really no different without fans in attendance.

But someone mentioned cycling. I cannot even fathom the Tour de France without spectators lining the climb up Alpe d'Huez. As much as those spectators irritate me, I also love to see them.

Well, will tell you, the last sumo tournament was held without an audience and it was absolutely BORING!

Even my FIL had the same opinion and he loves to watch it.

We got my in-laws good tickets for the tournament in Tokyo, two years ago, and they had a blast.

There's an energy from the audience that makes such things completely sterile, when omitted.

At least to the same degree I did when the stands were full of wealthy and/or drunk people.

That said -- To be honest, I want it all back up and running, so I may be in for some if it helps.

You guys know that you've always had the option to not watch sports right? No one is forcing you to watch them.

For the people that are sports fans it's a legitimate question. For those that don't watch, simply continue to not watch. It will not affect you either way.

I don't typically go to games or watch them on TV, so it won't make much difference to me. I might watch a baseball game on TV, fans or no. I don't care for any other ball sport.

If I felt like watching sports on TV it would make no difference to me if the stadium was empty.

I prefer there are no commentators. Just let them play - I can figure out what's happening.

Luckily I have more than one TV channel and an off button on my remote, hopefully one day you'll be able to upgrade to an off button where you live.

I'll watch with no fans. Also I play fantasy a bunch so I may not watch per say but I'd like sports to come back for that reason over all others.
