4 years to find out this guy was stealing Javelins? Holy crap, where's the inventory people, the accounting department should have found that asap!

Seriously we had someone running around with a Javelin missile in their possession, imagine what damage they could do with it in the wrong hands..

Better get that shit straightened out asap...

Not saying I wouldn't want to have one on hand, appears to be perfect for home defense, but you have to wonder who might be in the market for a Javelin.

He appears to have 2 if not 3 Javelins, and a M136E1 AT4 rocket too, alongside a bunch of ammo in cans.

WTAF? Roll Eyes

How is this guy able to steal a whole Javelin missile?

In the 90's/00's Army, you couldn't even get a single live round off a range, they were stupid strict about it and there was hell to pay if you were dumb enough to try.

This IMO tells me just how far standards and discipline has dropped and Hegseth is 100% correct in getting the services whipped back into shape.

Think about who the CinC was four years ago then, consider how long it might take for DEI to be purged and a new focus instilled into the command structures with regards to discipline and accountability once a new CinC is elected and Secretary of War emplaced

I had always heard stories of "things that had fallen off trucks." Helmet, some plates or plate carrier or etc.

But a whole freaking Javelin?! And that many cans of 5.56. That's absolutely wild.

Also, in addition to these, what else has he sold in past years?

Bet you a million bucks there were multiple people in on this? Shit's about to hit the fan here. There is NO WAY this guy stole all this without inside help from others.

When I had to turn in my weapon at end of shift, the armorer would stick his thumb into each and every magazine. If his thumb went down too far, your ass was in trouble. Some guys tried to use pencils or wooden dowels but always got caught.
We once spent hours walking a line search for a missing S&W Model 15.

A friend, years ago, was part of a permanent task force in SA, chasing down stolen weapons.

It’s been a continuous problem/why the DoD really has to be forced to start passing audits.

A missing tube from a Javelin put the task force into full blown “crazy” mode.

Had a numerous anecdote about how they found it, before they demolished the thief’s house, but he was clear that they would have taken the house apart, completely, before they gave up recovering it.

That thief needs to be facing execution.
