sigfreundThe design seems straightforward and I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t do the things advertised. If it’s poorly made and falls apart the first time it’s used, that would be one thing, but not perform the tasks? Why not?
I sometimes have difficulty with twist-off bottle caps and resort to a large tool designed for everything from bottles to large jars, so I could see its utility just for that. Pop tabs wouldn’t require that tool, but would make it easier than using a table knife or fork handle. And for $6 and change ….

At least the price hasn’t gone up any.

SeotajiI have a sheet of rubber I use for this purpose. Aids grip without squeezing the lid, thus making it difficult to open the container.
If you have a rubber strap wrench for oil filters, that'll do as well.

My wife has arthritis in her hands and can't grip well. I bought her one of those about a year ago; she uses it all the time and likes it. It does work pretty well.

It is good to hear that the price on Amazon for a worthless item has not increased. Great news!!!

If that bottle cap is 12.5" in diameter then that hand must be about 44" across from knuckle to knuckle.

Inch, millimeter, whatever.

The entire listing is written as though someone ran Chinese through Google Translate, and didn't bother having someone who is familiar with English review it.
Let me quote from the bullet points. I will forego the use of [sic]....

If they can't bother getting the ad content right, it's unlikely the product itself is anything to write home about.

henryaz I bought a 2 piece (small and large) strap wrench set about 10 years ago. The small stays in the kitchen, and handles everything from bottle caps to jars. The large I keep in the garage shop. Looks similar to this, but mine are not Craftsman.

There must be
sprag clutches inside it. Can it tighten (not that you'd really want to) as well as loosen?
I use a rubber strap wrench ("Hyper Tough" brand at Wal-Mart, $6) on my Ruger AR's delta ring.

I have the same set, made by the store brand at Lowe's. Those things work as advertised.

Of course which is why it is shown to be able to handle a wide range of cap sizes.
